One of the most awaited festival in the country is upon us once again, prepare for colorful balloons to dot the sky of Clarkfield, Pampanga for four consecutive days! 

The first and last time I’ve attended the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was last 2010 and I’m stoked that I’d be able to finally attend again this year!

For those interested in seeing the balloons fly, you can get your tickets at Ticketnet and at the gate itself for Php200.00

Digital Photographer Philippines and Caltex has been a media partner for this event for quite sometime now and they’re at it again; like the previous years, they’re having another photo contest for camera buffs attending the Hot Air Baloon Festival.

   Submit your photos taken during the 17th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, that 
   best expresses the theme "Hot Moves - A Journey Like No Other," this February 9 – 12, 2011, 
   and get a chance to win great prizes!

   The contest submission period starts on Feb. 9, 2012 and ends on Feb. 12, 2012. Only photos
   submitted onsite from 7 AM (PHT) to 8:30 PM (PHT) at the Caltex booth in Clark are eligible to
   win.

How to get to Clarkfield, Pampanga by Car from Manila:
Take the NLEX then take the SCTEX on-ramp after passing the Dau Exit. From the SCTEX, take the southbound lane to Clark South Exit. Via Yokohama Complex, turn right at Roxas Highway and you’ll see the balloons to your right.

Or you may also take the Dau way.  From NLEX, exit at Dau, turn left to Angeles City, then turn right to Clark.  Enter the main gate towards Roxas Highway and the balloons would be on your right.

How to get to Clarkfield, Pampanga via Public Transportation:
Board a Dau bound bus from Victory Liner or Baliwag Transit and alight at Dau. Cross the street and walk in front of the Caltex station, board a jeep to Main Gate and from there, ride another jeep bound for Clark.
