I was sipping my chilled coffee at the porch of the white-clapboarded coffeehouse at Baguio’s Camp John Hay when A plopped down a couple of travel magazines on the café’s wooden table. “Let’s check out our next destination” she says.
There were a couple of Smile Magazines, the official publication for Cebu Pacific Airlines, and my mind began to whirl. I was actually looking for the current issue of this magazine a few days ago as some of my food photos from the Lakbay Norte 3 made it into its glossy pages.

So off I went to the magazine rack and there it was, the April issue of Smile Magazine.

Although I can’t take the copy home, I was able to check out and photograph its pages. The article about northern food delights is written by another Lakbay Nortier, Sam Shoushi and three of my photos made it into the final cut.
It’s really not much, but this is my first time to get published on an airline magazine. Big thanks to Sam for the referral and Cebu Pacific for considering my photos print worthy.
