ON THE ROAD | The Colors of Diyandi Festival

Another reason why I visited Iligan City was the annual Diyandi Festival. The celebration focuses on the city’s patron saint, St. Michael. The festival features a reenactment of the iconic archangel stepping over a defeated Lucifer complimented by music and dancing from the contingents.

It is as colorful and as lively as any festivals I’ve been to and I’m so thankful for being invited by the Iligan Bloggers Society; not only do we get to see Iligan City’s majestic waterfalls but we got to witness their colorful culture as well.

    I have never attended or witnessed a festival in the province before. The Diyandi Festival looks interesting. I love the colorful costumes.

    How do you take really tight shots? Did you use a zoom lens here? It's always been my problem when shooting in crowded places. =)

    I'm actually a newbie too when it comes to festivals, I hardly attend them, ang dami kasi lagi tao :P

    I used a 50mm lens here, it's really hard to shoot festivals kasi ang dami talaga tao :(
