ON THE ROAD | Sun Finally at Lanao del Norte
Friday, September 21, 2012After two days of gloomy weather, the sun finally broke through the thick clouds of Northern Mindanao. I quickly got out of bed and roared off to the town of Linamon where I spotted some nipa huts standing near the sea yesterday. The sand was not powdery white, but I’m not choosy, sand is still sand.
The beach was all mine most of the morning, that is until a truckload of soldiers jumped into the sea, barged in on my solitary talk with the sea and brought me back to the realities of Mindanao.

The water wave effect is soothing... Mindanao has sure best kept secrets of beauty of nature, if only we could change what others think about the region now...

ReplyDeleteoh. them, soldiers. so it's true. at least they're were peace is ongoing. at least the kind of peace we know. and beach sands are ok kahit anong kulay nga. huwag lang littered with Humpy Dumpty or Boy Bawang packs.
