ON THE ROAD | Breakdown
Wednesday, September 26, 2012Coming from a high point in Iligan City, I can feel a downhill ride for me. The plane that was supposed to bring me back to Manila so I can rest for a day before taking a flight again to Biri in Samar, left without me. I was in the thick of church history south of Cebu when I rechecked my flight and found that it was two hours earlier than what I thought it was and it was too late to go back.
I’m not much of a planner, I prefer to just go with the flow but this one totally left me unprepared. The instant Plan B was to now head straight to Biri.
I’m now in the port of Cebu en route to Ormoc City. My research says that the ferry would be leaving by 8AM but it turns out that the first trip was at 5:30AM with the next one sailing just before lunch. That leaves me with more than three hours of lost time.
Downhill downhill downhill. Hope things get better after my crossover to Ormoc City.
