PUBLISHED | First Philippine Travel Calendar 2015
Tuesday, October 21, 2014I still vividly remember the exact moment I brought up my camera, focused and pressed the shutter on a particular limestone cliff in Palawan. It was a Coron trip from two years ago with my family. We just got off from our boat and climbed the rickety platform attached to a karts soaring above its aquamarine waters.
And now, it’s on the front cover of Eastgate’s First Philippine Travel Calendar 2015. They’re the same guys that publish the multi-awarded Mabuhay Magazine and the Best of the Best: Philippines coffee table book. I knew that they’re gonna have my photo on one of the calendar months, which turns out to be January, but I didn’t know they’re gonna plaster it on the cover.
If I’d only known then, I would’ve taken out my DSLR and used it instead of my measly Canon D10 underwater camera. I used to be lazy like that, haha.
The calendar is Eastgate’s first venture in introducing the country’s tourist spots in this format. It features twelve photographs from the country’s top travel photographers (I can’t even!). I get goose bumps from simply being included with the likes of Francisco Guerero, Tommy Schultz, and Hannah Reyes.
Eastgate’s First Philippine Travel Calendar 2015 is beautifully printed on a 12x12-inch 120lbs. thick glossy paper and is now available on major bookstores for only ₱500.00 (cheaper than your usual calendars). Grab yourselves a copy, it’s twelve months-full of travel goodness.

Congrats! You deserve it, man! I remember seeing your Coron photos from two years ago. It was what convinced me of the need to visit at least once in my life. (Haven't yet, though.)
ReplyDeleteThank you Dani! You should definitely visit Coron one of these days :)
