People go to Boracay to rest and relax. And one definite aspect of this is food. Boracay has tons of places to eat out on, but for most vacationers, the pinnacle of a Boracay food trip is by trying at least one buffet lunch or dinner by the beach. And Boracay does not disappoint, the island probably has the most concentration of buffet restaurants in the Philippines in a single area.
Featured here are the complete list of buffet restaurants in Boracay that are available for walk-ins, that means everyone on the island (since there are buffets that are only for in-house guests), listed from the most affordable to the most expensive. If I missed something, let me know down on the comments.
BORACAY BUDGET BUFFETS ~ ₱600 BELOW
To be honest, there’s really not much budget buffets in Boracay, and well, anywhere else for that matter. By its nature, buffets are expensive due to the massive amount of dishes being served in a small amount of time. But, fear not. If you really want to have an affordable buffet in Boracay, there are still a couple of restaurants on the island—sadly, one of the cheapest buffet in Boracay (₱250!) has already closed—where you can have a simple feast without breaking the bank.

Sunset View Restobar, the in-house restaurant for Paradise Garden Resort Boracay, holds the record for the cheapest lunch buffet in Boracay. They serve mostly Filipino and Western dishes. The restaurant itself faces the White Beach and has a spacious and tastefully decorated interiors. An acoustic duo serenades guests during meal times.
REAL EXPERIENCE: We have tried this restaurant when their lunch buffet was still at ₱450.00. For the price, we weren’t expecting much. But we saw that they have roast pork liempo and a Mongolian grill station. That sealed the deal for us. Their lunch dishes were a tad limited, but it was still more than enough for a filling lunch. What made it worth it was their pork liempo, which was really superb! We made computations on our head, and we reckon we saved more by eating here than if we took multiple orders of pork liempo at Andok’s.

There are a lot of buffets below the one thousand-peso mark in Boracay. Majority of these can be found at Boracay White Beach, and most of these are under the Henann Group of Resorts. They have, as of this writing, five buffets restaurants, each with differing cuisines. Note that most of these restaurants offer lunch and dinner buffet, the former being more affordable than the latter.

Run by the Raintree Hospitality Group and located at Coast Boracay, Cha Cha’s Beach Café serves breakfast buffet on an airy hall right by the beach. Serving buffet breakfast exclusively, they have one of the most affordable buffets in Boracay. They have the usual Pinoy morning fares and Western favorites. Their ube champorado is a must-try.

Sea Breeze is arguable Henann’s most popular buffet since it’s one of their most affordable. They serve mostly Filipino fares for lunch, with a larger mix of Western dishes during dinner. Located right by the beach, its interior sports a modern chic look. The other side of the restaurant opens to the resort’s pool area. Live musicians serenades guests during meals.
REAL EXPERIENCE: We tried their lunch buffet and we were not disappointed. The food selection was just right for the price. I specially like their street food area and their sisig station. I’d say this is your typical buffet feast, sans the lechon and steaks—which they serve during dinner.

Orchard Café is Henann’s newest dinner buffet restaurant. Named after Singapore’s famous street, Orchard Road, they serve South East Asian dishes perfect for travelers craving Singapore’s laksa or Malaysia’s nasi goreng, and it’s surprisingly easy on the wallet. While not beach-front, the restaurant opens to the resort’s pool atrium.

Some of their must-tries include chori burger sliders, seafood pizza, poached lapu-lapu, signature chicken binakol, and tuna and pork sinuglaw.

White Cafe at Astoria Boracay is one of the most controversial buffet restaurants on the island because of their free buffet—which they promote through agents giving out cards along White Beach. While the buffet is indeed free, you need to take a seminar about time-sharing afterwards, which take a couple of hours. If you don’t give in and buy a time-share, I’d say the free lunch is probably worth the lost time.
And oh yes, you can also eat here without taking the seminar—you’d just have to pay for your buffet meal, of course. They have different themes for their dinner buffets on specific days; Wonders of Western Visayas during Wednesdays, Best of Barbecues on Thursdays, Seafood Satisfaction on Fridays, and Flavors of Asia on Saturdays.

Situated along the White Beach on a cozy space, Nalka Seafood restaurant really doesn’t exude that luxury feels, but its hefty price tag kinda does. The reason for this is their unique take on seafood buffet. There’s actually no buffet table, you order what you want from their seafood menu, and they cook it for you, fresh, with absolutely no limit. Ask for a second floor balcony table for a premium beach view.

A couple of thousand for a breakfast buffet seems a hefty sum for a morning meal at Movenpick Boracay, but it comes with not a few privilege. The fee is actually for a the resort’s Day Pass, part of which, is the buffet breakfast. Aside for the luxurious grub at The Market, it also includes a welcome drink, use of use Movenpick’s private beach, gym, swimming pool and shower room; recreational activities, like volleyball by the beach front and our Little Birds Club; free chocolates and sweets during Chocolate Hour; and 10% discount on massages and treatments at Sagay Spa. And that’s from 6:30AM up to 9:30PM. Not bad at all.

Crimson Boracay used to serve regular buffets at Saffron Cafe, unfortunately, they seemed to have it on hold, opting for occasional buffets by the beach instead. Located at the quiet Punta Bunga Beach, these events are special. Imagine dining on unlimited dishes with Boracay’s white sand under your feet and the stars above your head, as an acoustic duo serenades you.
